Isola Bella

Posted by Isla on Oct 20, 2009 in Finds

From one island girl to another! I swear, we bloggers have such an amazing opportunity to meet so many incredible people in the field of design. Gina of Isola Bella is certainly one i felt honored to find! Her amazing hand printed line of home textiles – napkins, table runners, sachets, gourmet kitchen towels, placemats, note cards, wall art…(the list goes on) is vibrant, joyful, and most importantly, healthy. Using all eco-friendly inks and natural or recycled materials, Isola Bella products are a breath of truly fresh air.

“My inspiration comes from the beauty and daily discoveries of living on an island. I consider myself a beachcomber. A concept for a design often emerges after collecting shells and coral fragments that have washed up on a favorite beach or exploring and photographing the tropical landscape. I am drawn to organic patterns and textures found in nature and the sea and natural fibers. Living simply and creating beauty is my essence and what I want to share with others.”
