Our very dear client and friend sent this to me this morning, because truly it fits her to a T and i would imagine many others also. She had the opportunity to spiffy up her kitchen and we both new the white/marble/aqua look was the perfect look. BUT, she uses her kitchen like there’s no tomorrow and is often away working which means leaving kids and a husband with free range in the kitchen. After much thought, she did go for it, and i think loves it.
She sent this image and quote (below) to me this morning and when i first started to read it, my heart kind of sunk because i thought there might be a hint of regret, but then it made me smile :-)…(not sure which blog or site she found this from). For all of you thinking of honed carrera, keep this in mind!

I just fell in love with this little beachy bathroom from Lonny! So simple and cozy…love the candles, shells and prints, with the pop of pink and red. So happy!
Just love this entry, so cool and inviting and friendly…chunky baskets, purposely placed “stuff”, framed photographs, pale aqua wall behind it all. So beachy and airy and light, just scrumptious! Minus the chopped wood, this evokes quite the tropical-bungalow-ish feel…

They use aqua, lime and white throughout the entire space but still keep it sophisticated and elegant. And be sure to pay attention to all the fun fabrics they use!
