Delights
We’re getting in some fun new pieces today in the showroom, so we’ll be busy all day moving things around! Thought i’d just post one more of my favorites from Lonny. Absolutely love this ottoman, reminds me a little of Cisco’s aesthetic. And the pink flamingo is just perfect…i’ll take one please!

I just fell in love with this little beachy bathroom from Lonny! So simple and cozy…love the candles, shells and prints, with the pop of pink and red. So happy!

How beautiful are these little urchins and shells mixed in with this succulent! I’ve seen very “arranged” “arrangements” before and this just feels so clumsy and organic, like someone is just dropping in little treasure as they pass by, letting them fill to the brim. So lovely…enjoy the weekend everyone!

Highlights
I love this room from Modern Luxury’s Riviera Interiors magazine. The art piece is by the late artist Birjir Andresson and i just love the feel it gives – of space, color, simplicity, the ocean.
There is very little about this artist online, but this paragraph caught my eye, and thought it would be fun to share.
“The ‘Icelandic Colours’ are one of the strangest and most contradictory subjects in Birgir’s art and, like so many of his themes, turn up again and again in different contexts. In his text-paintings the text appears on a solid field of colour which is identified in a caption in the corner: “Colours: Icelandic Pantone 173, Icelandic Pantone 533.” To begin with this was perhaps just characteristic irony, making fun of pseudo-national trends in interior decoration. Later, however, these colours later became a sort of signature that Birgir could use to put his mark on almost any subject he chose.”
I’ve always thought of Iceland as evoking simplicity and intensity, this art does the same…
