We had a great time Wednesday night rearranging the store for the holiday season. Kaypee’s new novelty lumbar pillows are just the BEST! What a great gift for someone on the mainland who has a special connection to the islands in some way….or what a neat accessory to have in your guest room for when holiday friends and family arrive for a short stay. They are just so much fun and go with all of Kaypee’s other patterns perfectly… And are here just in time for the shopping season of course!

Highlights Aloha and Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all enjoy a peaceful, thoughtful, joyous filled day with friends and family. We are grateful to all of you for being our fans and wish you blessed holiday season.
(just for fun, this is a picture of my husband and I’s first Thanksgiving together – note there is no furniture, so we made it picnic style. And ate at about 8am because we only had a crock-pot and were worried it would take so long so stewed it slowly the whole night before. It was completely ready at about 6am!!)

Highlights I had the pleasure of being invited to one of the most wonderfully, warm, delicious, special dinners hosted by Edward and Kaypee this weekend. Everything was so thoughtfully planned and prepared and the food was just beyond unbelievable.
I only had my phone to capture the night but look how beautiful the table on the lanai was set up! They’ve been collecting spaghetti jars to re-use as drinking glasses and hurricanes, look how beautiful they are all lined up along the table. And Kaypee’s very special Russel Wright collection was in full swing – we used an original first collection of his melamine collection Kaypee found on Ebay.

Delights I’ve always loved the ‘Chines Lantern’, or Physalis Alkekengi as i just learned today! These mixed in with a vase of wheat stalks is just a must for fall floral decor. I look forward to seeing them every fall…
