Just came across the work of industrial designer, Gry Fager and fell in love with this modern picnic style porcelain. She used “recognizable patterns in new and unconventional ways”, hence the kitchen-towel and cloth like pattern so beautifully executed. I love the simplicity and aesthetic it provokes and would be delighted to be using this everyday in my kitchen!

Soh Inspired is back!!! Missed everyone and hope you all still remember us here in Honolulu! Thought i’d share a few photos of some of the places we stayed while away for three weeks. I seemed to have lost my first week of photos on Islesboro (have a friend trying to find them on my memory card, keep your fingers crossed!) so here are a few pics of the “workshop”, a family home in Rockport, Maine. Just to give a little taste of coastal life on the East side! There was so much inspiration everywhere, i can’t even begin to translate…
“The Workshop”, which is where all us “kids” stay when we visit. It was once literally an actual workshop which has since been turned into a livable space for all us family who visit Maine in the summer on my mom’s side. Great for rustic beach living, it’s filled with a fabulous mish mosh of all things home…
Such a fun trip, thank you all friends and family for hosting!!!
I’m off to Maine for three weeks but will still post when i can and will be thinking of all our fabulous fans and followers while i’m away gorging on lobster and blueberries!
Couldn’t resist posting this incredible shot of lupines in honor of Maine, they’re an all time favorite and i remember fields of them growing up on the island…
