I’m off to Maine for three weeks but will still post when i can and will be thinking of all our fabulous fans and followers while i’m away gorging on lobster and blueberries!

I would imagine all our So’mace fans also love Apartment Therapy so perhaps some of you have already seen this. But i just think it’s hands down, one the most absolutely adorable “cottages” i’ve ever seen. It brings to life, for me, the very essence and idea of “collecting”. Collecting random pieces you randomly fall in love with, with no worry about whether or not they’ll match or work with everything else you already have. If you love it, grab it and go with it because ultimately, everything will eventually fall into place.
I have a couple more sneak peak photos! Remember this adorable tiny house my family is building on their property on an island in Maine? Well, things are progressing and just couldn’t wait to share. We’ll be there soon on “holiday” (!) to see it all with our very own eyes! Already have some Kaypee Soh pillows and fun fabrics to reupholster some coastal antique type pieces…yay!

Wanted to share this piece we made for a client who needed a REALLY long media console! Couldn’t find exactly what they wanted anywhere so we worked with them to make it the perfect size, color and even customized where the holes for the wiring went. It was fun to be able to give someone exactly what they had been looking for, and hope it’s functional and beautiful for them for years to come.
